Place in the industry: Polina Nenia has created and developed an online project about high life, fashion and culture. Its exceptional elements are photo reports from various events, being included in which became a must for all fashionable people in Ukraine. Creative path: Polina began her career on TV: first as a journalist at 'TET' TV channel, and then as an editor of a popular 'Bez Tabu' (No Taboo) show with Olha Herasymyuk. She used that experience later on, when, after a break she took to work for the state, she returned to the media world. In 2014, parallel to working on bestin.ua, she was the host of 'Bohynia Shoppinhu' (Shopping Goddess) and 'Ikona Styliu' (Style Icon) shows on 'TET' TV channel. Initially, the website was supposed to be a full-fledged glossy magazine but a digital one. During the first year, the editor's office would make a photo shoot each month and create a cover design with headlines of best articles. But the project's most prominent side became quickly apparent: it was easy to notice that high life chronicles gathered most views. So, a decision was made to perfect this section and make it unique. This chief section is supported by 'Person', 'Five favourite garments' and other rubrics all based on high-quaity glossy images. This past year, they also decided to restore the practice of creating digital monthly covers. Work principles: 'We have changed the way people saw social chronicles. If previously they were about mere photo documentation of guests, we offered professional, beautiful, impressive images for people to look at themselves and others. We also do a great job covering what is happening in fashion, including photo reports from runways and front rows made at a very high level. We have set an unprecedented standard for Ukrainian glossy press about what a high life documentary glossy picture should look like.'
